Full disclosure

For the record, I was in a production of Comedy of Errors once upon a time, so that may be why I find it so hilarious. I do think it is quite funny on its own terms, however, even though it may not hold up to Shakespeare's later comedies (personally, I'm quite fond of Twelfth Night, but another may replace it as my favorite, who knows...)

Wait, Twelfth Night is your favorite comedy? WHAT!? What about AMND? What about Much Ado? If any other comedies are going to replace it as your favorite I'd suggest they get a move on.
Okay, not to bash Twelfth Night, but I just didn't think it was all that funny when I read it (although it is entirely possible that that is due completely to my lack of intillect). But, we can save discussion of Twelfth Night for, um, the discussion of Twelfth Night. And, having been your twin, I have to admit that I probably find CoE more hilarious than I would otherwise but I don't think that its a HUGE part of why I find it funny. Great play!
